Start with their name.
Each letter of the name becomes part of the adventure.
Open it, or we write it.
A saved story opens right away. A new one takes a few minutes while AI writes it.
Read at your own pace.
Adjust the text size and lighting, and read one chapter or the whole story.
Stories are public and shared by name, not private to your family. Please enter a first name only, never a full name. More for the grown-ups

A few things to know.
Is every story newly written?
Not every time. If a story already exists for a name, you’ll read that story. Otherwise, AI creates one and saves it for future readers of the same name.
What do the letters mean?
Their meanings belong to the fictional adventure. They aren’t an explanation of a name’s origin or an assessment of a child’s personality.
Can I read it first?
Please do. Stories are AI-created, so a grown-up should read ahead and decide what suits their child. NameTales is designed for shared reading, not developmental or sleep advice.
What about names from other languages?
The current story service accepts English letters, hyphens and apostrophes. Some valid names may not pass its name-checking service. That is a limitation of NameTales, not of anyone’s name. Let us know.
